JT Counselling Services

Counselling is a safe space for you to explore any issues that are worrying you.

You might talk about significant life events, your relationships, your feelings and emotions, ways that you think about things and patterns of behaviour.

Key to counselling is the relationship you develop with a professional who is experienced and trained at listening empathically and without judgment.

Through counselling, you may deepen your understanding of different aspects of your life as well as yourself. This can help you to grow to understand and accept yourself more. It can then help you make more informed or different choices about your life.

There are times when coping may become very difficult and it makes sense to seek the support of a psychologist or counsellor. Some of the issues I have experience working through with clients include:

  • Grief and loss
  • Relationships
  • Trauma
  • Personal identity
  • Cultural identity, racistm and micro aggressions
  • Sexuality (LGBTQ+)
  • Spiritual/existential issues
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Shame & guilt
  • Confidence & self-esteem
  • Work-related stress
  • Bullying
  • Domestic violence
  • Self-harm

Please note I currently offer online counselling only (over Zoom or Google Meet for example).
